Class Description:

ONE YEAR CLASS:

Best for 6 & 7th graders, this course is an overview and introduction to the sciences. The course covers such topics as the scientific method, designing experiments, simple machines, geology, archaeology, biology, and more, with a large focus on Earth Science (astronomy, meteorology, oceanography, earth study, geology, paleontology, and environmental science). Students will keep a notebook of their findings, and there will be lots of review and fun activities to help reinforce the material students are learning.
