Thursday HS Elective (AM2A) – Career Exploration & More

ONE YEAR CLASS:

In this class, students will gain experience with coming to know the will of God and understand what is truly important in noting their strengths and talents. They will investigate different careers, practice resume writing and cover letters (making a good first impression). They will learn practical and empowering job-interview skills. They will also write their own Personal Mission Statement by helping them understand who they are and where they are heading. They will also get to look at the “careers” of those in the Bible…a fun look at David, Joseph, and Mary.  There will be weekly workbook and reading assignments to fulfill their Career Exploration studies.
