Class Description:

ONE YEAR CLASS:

This course builds strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and language arts (an all inclusive English course). Students explore a range of literature and learn to analyze plot, theme, character, and author’s craft through discussion and written responses. Spelling, vocabulary, and grammar instruction support clearer, more confident communication. Designed as a bridge to high school English, this class strengthens critical thinking and prepares students for the increased rigor of upper level literature courses.
