ONE SEMESTER CLASS:
In this class, students will learn about the history of California from the early settlements and Mexican influence, the missionary trail, the Gold Rush, even some current events. Students will see how God played an important part in how California developed and prospered from its beginnings to now. Through lectures and various media, they will hear about interesting places to visit and make a map of California identifying those places and the diverse geographical areas of California. They will also learn about our government, the state capitol, bird, flag and more, getting to complete projects to reinforce what they learn.
