Thursday JH/HS Elective (AM2B) – Movie Makers

In this new one-semester class, students will be learning how to make and edit a movie using iMovie. It will start with beginner, easy-to-learn techniques and get into more difficult techniques. By the end of the semester, the students will be able to make their own short films! Homework will be assigned each week and graded on assignment completion, participation, and effort. There will be a large project due at the end of the semester where students will be required to make their own movie.

*Students should have a Mac laptop running version Big Sur (11.5.1) that they can bring to class every week. If they don’t, they can still take class and teacher and assistant will have Mac to work on in class, and will only need a phone that can take pictures at home for homework.
