Wednesday JH (AM1B) – IEW Writing (Narnia Volume 1)

ONE YEAR CLASS

This will be another option for literature and writing at a beginning jr. high level.  Students will learn to integrate Institute for Excellence in Writing techniques with topics from the Narnia stories, using the first three novels of The Chronicles of Narnia, The Magician’s Nephew, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and The Horse and His Boy. The IEW student book gives reading assignments from the novels, source texts on related topics, key word outlines to fill in, checklists, assignments, word lists, and more. The weekly lessons encourage students to experience the enchanted land of Narnia through the IEW structure and style.
