ONE YEAR CLASS:
In this science class using Apologia Zoology 2 curriculum, junior students will do an in-depth study of marine biology. The curriculum presents information with a strong creationist viewpoint and contains chapters on aquatic animals, whales, seals, fish, sharks, reptiles, Cephalopods and many other creatures. Students will be doing lots of microscope work and hands-on experiments with living and preserved specimens. There will also be work sheets and lab sheets to develop the skills needed to conduct scientifically valid experiments, and also notebook journaling and research papers, with a semester project to help enrich their learning experience. Student’s work will be graded by the teacher and returned to determine their grade for parent to put on their own report card to cover science, or the student can take this class just for the fun of it!
