ONE YEAR CLASS – Continuation for Spring Semester – New students are welcome to join this class mid-year
This course follows the sequence of the days of creation to introduce multiple science concepts: light, color, day/night, water, air and wind, soil and rocks, seeds and plants, sun and moon, seasons, fish and sea creatures, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects, mammals, and humans. The objective of the class is to instill an appreciation of the creation of the world by God, to encourage observation skills of the world around us, and gain a beginning understanding of God’s world of nature. There will be learning activities, both in class and those assigned as homework. The purpose of homework activities, in addition to providing support for in-class learning, is to provide the beginning of disciplined follow-up activities that will become good study habits.
