Class Description:

ONE YEAR CLASS:

Another option for high school English credit, this class will cover literature from a Christian perspective. Students will be studying literature, grammar, and working on writing essays and research papers. The grammar component will cover sentence structure and punctuation. The writing component will cover outlining, paragraph structure, essay writing, and all of the components of multi-source papers. Students will discuss and answer questions about the literature and poetry selections, as well use them as sources for writing some of the major papers for this class. This class was previously listed as English Fundamentals 2 (taught 24/25) and is directed toward 11th & 12th grade students. It will help strengthen their writing skills and make them stronger writers for all the college writing ahead.
