ONE YEAR CLASS:
In this class students will learn about why their health matters. Some of the categories they will be learning about are physical influences on their thoughts and feelings, mental and emotional stability, interpersonal harmony, treasuring their senses, processing nourishment and hydration. The class will cover some basic food science by looking at what you eat: micronutrients and macronutrients, as well as learn how to budget for meals and meal prep. There will also be an emphasis on the importance of movement by going over a variety of elements of sports training, such as how to properly build muscle strength, build endurance, become more flexible, etc. to give a larger understanding of how to physically take care of our bodies.
