*Tuesday Elective *JH/HS (PM2A) – Art Foundations

ONE YEAR CLASS:

During this class students will learn new art skills & learn to use art to express themselves and convey a message. Students will learn about and enhance their: drawing and shading skills, use of perspective and color theory, and ability to use different art mediums. The course work will be light, but there will be weekly homework. To complete each semester students will design their own art project. This will provide them the chance to decide what medium they like best, consider how to reflect their personality, and what message they want to convey. They will also practice giving, receiving and applying constructive criticism mid project.
