*Tuesday *JH Elective (AM1A) – Cooking American Style

ONE YEAR CLASS – Full Class – No New Students:

In this class, students will gain confidence in the kitchen by learning the basics of cooking, and how to make delicious meals at home for their family and friends. The class will prepare entrees, appetizers, and desserts while exploring the culture of various American dishes and regions. They will also learn how to plan a menu, set a table for special occasions and parties, and create a their own 3-course meal. Students will do most of the cooking in class, but will be required to do cooking and assignments at home.
