Class Description:

ONE YEAR CLASS:

This class will be using Teaching Textbooks curriculum to cover all the Pre-Algebra concepts, starting with the basics like rational numbers, decimals, percent, measurements, area and volume, and then algebraic expressions and equations, working with negative and positive integers, and more. There will be instruction and practice in class for each lesson, and student will complete assigned lesson problem sets at home. There will also be lots of review so students can go over any problem areas so they understand the concepts taught. All homework is done on paper, graded by parent using the answer key and turned in for credit. Tests are also taken at home and turned in for grading, and teacher will also give in-class quizzes.
