*Tuesday *JH Elective (PM1A)- Cooking Around The World

ONE YEAR CLASS:

In this class, students will take a delicious and fun journey around the world with food! They will not only learn the basics of food preparation and vocabulary of the culinary arts, but will also learn to prepare dishes from around the globe, with an emphasis on healthy alternatives to traditional favorites. They will learn and write about famous chefs from different countries and cultures. They will also need to prepare dishes at home to bring to class. There will be Mediterranean, Italian, French, Mexican, and of course, American dishes to make and sample. No passport required!
