Class Description:

ONE YEAR CLASS – Prerequisite: Student has taken Beginning ASL 1:

Using the same curriculum as used in Beginning ASL 1 and will also be used in high school first year of ASL, this is an intermediate level course that builds on the foundation laid in an introduction to ASL. This course will provide an experience for students to continue their assimilation of the Deaf world. The course focuses on the development of expressive and receptive skills in ASL at an intermediate level, covering topics such as descriptions, asking opinions, giving suggestions/advice, and declining invitations.
