*Wednesday 1-3rd (AM2B) – Which Way USA

ONE YEAR CLASS – Accepting New Students for Spring Semester:

Students will learn about and appreciate living in our great and beautiful country! Over the course of each semester, this class will cover most of the 50 states in our United States, learning to locate the state on the U.S. map, and also learn facts like the capital, state bird and animal, some of the history and geographical interests, and other fun facts. Activities in class will teach students something unique about each state, accompanied by foods from the state, and crafts or games to enhance learning. There will be some memorization about each state, which will be practiced and reviewed the following week. There will be reading aloud depending on the activities, so student should be at this level. Homework will include practicing the state capitals, and finding the state on a map, along with fun activity sheets pertaining to the state studied that week.
