One-semester art class: God has blessed us with a mind that is creative, analytical, curious, and expressive. The beauty of architecture is that it can encompass all of our mind through problem-solving by art. This course will introduce students to key terminology and skills of building design. They will see many examples of architectural trends and how it conveys a story of its time. Through hands-on activities, they will get to explore new architectural concepts, sketch ideas, and conceptualize 2-D into 3-D expressions. The goal is to see our built environment through the lens of an architect and appreciate the art that is all around us.
Students will be required to bring a ruler, pencils, colored pencils, scissors, and Elmer’s glue bottle
