**Tuesday Elective HS (PM1A) – Advanced Guitar (Part 2)

ONE YEAR CLASS (Prerequisite: Grace Intermediate Guitar or approval for level by teacher) – New students are welcome to join this class mid-year:

This is a moderately advanced course and a continuation to Intermediate Guitar. This course will cover, more in depth, the fundamentals of playing rhythm guitar and music theory. Basics of Rhythm include strumming patterns, chord progressions & rhythm by songs, parts of songs and scales. Basics of Theory include continued instruction of the fretboard, the tablature, musical alphabet, the language of music, notes in a scale, chord scales, and more. These concepts and skills are interlinked in each lesson. This class is to augment the student’s skill in the basics of rhythm guitar and theory learned thus far in Intermediate Guitar.

*Student will need a tunable guitar, metronome, tuner and capo
